Wrong Train is a private instrument for organizing evidence. It keeps the three apart, preserves uncertainty, and prints the boundary of every claim. An instrument, not a companion.

The record locks at capture.
Facts captured near the event: time, place, exact words. Later edits append; they do not overwrite.
Interpretation is its own type.
Your read of events is welcome and kept. It never merges with the observation and never rewrites it.
Claims stop at the evidence.
Only what the record supports crosses the boundary. Every summary states what it shows, what it does not, and how sure it is.
One record, kept honest.
Meta in mono, content in prose, types held apart. The boundary is written on the record itself.
The card here is a working example, not a screenshot dressed up. This is the shape every record takes: the observation locks first, the interpretation appends beneath it, and the claim is printed last with its limits attached.
R. said, "I never agreed to Thursday." A calendar invite sent Mar 02 shows Thursday 15:00, accepted the same day.

Capture near the moment
Entries lock at save and carry their capture lag, so a record made fourteen minutes after an event says so. Edits append to the history; nothing is silently rewritten.
Type every annotation
Observations and interpretations are stored as different types and never merge. A lint reads drafts for mind reading and inflated language before anything is filed.
State the limits
Patterns are noticed, never scored. Each synthesis is deterministic and states plainly what it shows, what it does not establish, and how confident it is.

Wrong Train is being designed to describe patterns, not to label people or assign conditions. It is not therapy and not diagnosis.

Where the work touches risk, the intention is to point clearly toward trusted human support rather than to stand in for it.

The project is built slowly, in steps that can be inspected. External review from researchers and safety specialists is welcomed.
